Rev. Peter Wu was born in Macao, and emigrated to Taiwan with his family when he was 13. He became a Christian while studying at the National Cheng-Kung University in Tainan, Taiwan, where he earned his BSc and MSc degrees in Chemical Engineering. Entering the workforce, Rev. Wu worked as a Senior Engineer in the R&D department for Philips. After he received God’s calling to the ministry, Rev. Wu received theological training at the China Theological Seminary in Taipei, Singapore Bible College, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and Westminster Theological Seminary, where he received his PhD in Hermeneutics. Rev. Wu has pastored churches in Taiwan and the US and taught full-time at Singapore Bible College. He returned to Taiwan in July, 2018 and is the Senior Pastor of Grace Baptist Church since then. Rev. Wu is married to Cindy and they have a son, Joshua, who is married to Christina Bezon. Joshua and Christina have one daughter and one son.
