Our Vision: To practice the Great Commission and make disciples of all nation wholeheartedly.
Our Goal: To send our pastors and church members in mission fields in Islamic area, Africa, Japan, India, and Myanmar.
First Stage (2005-2008) goal: organize and seek missionary partners (visits of mission fields)
- Cultivated our concern for mission by holding a Mission Conference in the last week of May each year.
- Sought God’s guidance, by irregularly Visiting mission fields by pastoral team, Deacon Board Chair, and Mission Deacon.
- Maintained concern for expanding God’s Kingdom and cultivated the ability for mission by starting a mission fellowship.
- God gave GBC three oversea mission fields (Qing, India, Myanmar) and two local mission fields (Green Island, Gibe).
- Participated in mission conference in CCCOWE (世界華福宣教大會) and Chinese Baptist Mission Convention (全球華人浸信會宣教大會).
Second Stage (2009-2012) goal: cultivated church members to be mission minded and active (sent church members into mission fields)
- Saw the “Macedonian need” and our responsibility by holding a mission conference in the last week of each May.
- Set a firmer foundation for mission by pastors participating in mission trip and theological training.
- Brought encouragement to the church for responding to the calling of Great Commission by testimonies of returned STM teams.
- Continuously reminded and encouraged church members for mission by pulpit on the third Sunday of each month.
- Increased our mission consciousness by sending our own church members for long-term mission.
- Widened our spiritual vision for God’s kingdom by supporting various ethnic missionaries.
Third Stage (2013-2015) goal: climbing to the first summit (Sending our church pastor for long-term mission) lifting our mission awareness.
- See the “Macedonian need” and our responsibility by holding a mission conference in the last week of each May.
- Set a firmer foundation for mission by pastors participating in mission trip and theological training.
- Bring encouragement to the church for responding to the calling of Great Commission by testimonies of returned STM teams.
- Continuously remind and encouraged church members for mission by pulpit on the third Sunday of each month.
- Increase our mission consciousness by sending our own church members for long-term mission.
- Implement systematic mission education and emphasize prayers for mission in various BTU/Fellowships, so that everyone responds to the calling of God.
Our belief is that the gospel of Jesus Christ will spread to the end of the world.
